You are invited to contribute your written stories or memories, photographs, or other digital images (e.g., scanned documents, illustrations, graphics) to the Pitt Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive, which is designed to capture and curate the history, contributions, and perspectives of the Pitt GSWS community. please let us know if you believe that the material you are submitting belongs in a certain exhibit or collection. The Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive is maintained by the University of Pittsburgh Library System (ULS).

By submitting material through this form, you are granting permission to the ULS to preserve, reproduce, and distribute your work as part of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive. This permission includes the right to modify your material to conform to the goals of the Archive, to reformat it as necessary to preserve its perceptibility and usefulness, and to make it available for educational, research, and promotional purposes outside of the Archive, in perpetuity and in all media formats. This license does not authorize exploitation of your contribution for profit or commercial use. You retain ownership of and copyright on the material you share.

All submission should abide by the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive Guiding Principles.

Submissions will not appear immediately on the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive site. They will be reviewed by site administrators, and you will be notified once a decision to publish or not publish has been reached. The University of Pittsburgh and the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Archive site administrators are not obligated to include submitted materials in this project or preserve them in perpetuity.

Though contact information is required for the submission of material via the contribution form, contributors may choose to remain anonymous to the public.

By submitting material, you confirm that you are the creator of the material or you have the explicit permission of the copyright owner. If you would like to refer or nominate material which you do not own, please contact us using our Contact Form.

Submitted material must not violate any confidentiality, privacy, security or other laws. Please be aware that all submissions and any information associated with the submissions (email address, descriptive information, etc.) may be provided to federal, state, or local law enforcement or other government agencies pursuant to a lawful subpoena or otherwise as required by law.
