This source is an account of an interview with 1978 President of the National Organization of Women (NOW) Eleanor Smeal. In this interview, Ms. Smeal details that the percentage of minorities in NOW is growing. Ms. Smeal specifically notes that the Pittsburgh chapter is one of the strongest chapters in supporting minority involvement, as the Pittsburgh NOW chapter hosted a conference dedicated to minority women.
