Betty Friedan speaks on the recent suicide of Dr. South and its relation to sexism and sex discrimination at the University of Pittsburgh. Betty was the founder of NOW, National Organization for Women. She commented on how the University has been using money and resources to fight against victims of sex discrimination at the University rather than spending money to fix it. How major cases like Sharon Johnson's and Ina Bradens were the hopes of many faculty like Dr. South to improve how they were treated and viewed.
