Title
The University and Women
Description
This edition of Pitt's magazine from the fall of 1970 details the early stages of discussing the Women Studies program at Pitt. With the encouragement from professors like Dr. Ina Braden and Marcia Landy, Pitt started to offer more courses directed at women's issues. Additionally, several student interviews are included. For example, Gail Hornstein and Diane Ulyon both mention their involvement in student politics and how their goals shifted towards increasing the services at the University for women.
